YMAA Intercontinental
Yang’s Martial Arts Association (YMAA) was established in Boston, MA in 1982. With the intent of preserving traditional Chinese Kung Fu and Qigong , Dr. Yang, Jwing-Ming began training students in the rigors of Shaolin Long Fist and White Crane Gongfu as well as Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan. Dr. Yang also undertook his life-long dream of teaching and researching the Chinese arts and introducing them to the West through many books, videos and DVDs.
YMAA is an international community dedicated to the preservation and promotion of traditional Chinese martial arts, qigong, and martial morality. These disciplines and code of conduct unite its members in developing the mind, body, spirit, and a sense of responsibility toward oneself and the greater community.
The quality and depth of our training and instruction is traced back to a prestigious lineage of teachers. The organization aims to continue its traditions by supporting its members with the resources to inspire and educate a new generation of martial artists.
