Biography
Ilia Rezaei, Born into the vibrant environment of martial arts and inner traditions, Ilya Rezaei, son of Arash Rezaei, has been immersed from childhood in the heart of YMAA’s training culture. Having actively participated in every course and camp since his earliest years, he has cultivated not only technical skill but also a composed yet dynamic spirit full of youthful energy.
Ilya embodies a rare balance between calmness and vitality, marked by respectful manners and a genuine passion for life. Deeply connected to nature, travel, and a lifestyle free from urban distractions, his outlook reflects a seamless blend of authenticity and simplicity rooted in a profound bond with the natural world.
He holds a first-degree Dan from the Wushu Federation of Iran and serves as an assistant instructor at YMAA Iran. With enthusiasm and precision, he shares his deep knowledge and extensive experience in the art of Taijiquan with the younger generation. Ilya plays a vital role not only in teaching and mentoring students but also as a symbol of continuity and progress in a family lineage dedicated to preserving and advancing the internal arts—a young practitioner whose consistent and impactful presence helps shape a bright future for these traditions.
